Deep Sehgal – An emerging star of the Punjabi Film Industry
Deep Sehgal is a model and actress in the Pollywood industry, known for her phenomenal acting in Bhajjo Veero Ve (2018), Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua (2018) DSP Dev (2019), Munda Faridkoria (2019), and many more. Deep started her acting career in 2017 acting in the serial ‘Ek Kahani’ but put a break from 2019 to 2021 to work on her appearance with a desire to work on lead roles in Punjabi Film Industry. Currently, Deep is working with Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa for their upcoming film ‘Sher Bagga’, she will be seen playing an important role. Apart from this, we will see Deep in a Punjabi movie playing as parallel lead but the title of the film is not announced yet.
This 26-year-old actress belongs to Chandigarh and has studies Bachelors’s of Computer Applications. She did theatre during Youth Festivals in her college life and always received appreciation from her teachers and friends which motivated her to pursue her career as an actress. With the support from her family, without having any links in the film industry, Deep started giving auditions and has struggled to grab a role in a film on the basis of her skills and talent.
Deep has worked with many famous Punjabi actors like Ammy Virk, Dev Kharoud, Binnu Dhillon, Roshan Prince, Harish Verma, Neeru Bajwa, Simmi Chahal, and many more. She has a desire to work with Diljit Dosanjh, Vicky Kaushal and Kartik Aryan. Her favorite actors are Pankaj Tripathi and Ranveer Singh and she hopes to work with them too in the future.
While Speaking to us, Deep said, ‘she believes in God very much and she also believes in herself. She faced many challenges during this journey but her willpower kept her strong and she is trying to improve herself day by day so that she can achieve her dream to become one of the top actresses of Punjab. She wants people to know her by face so that she would not need to any introduction.’ She also gave a message to the newcomers that ‘Keep believing in yourself and keep patience because sometimes doing nothing and just keeping waiting for a big project to come is also a challenge but do not lose hope just keep trying and one day for sure you will achieve your dreams.’
