Carry on Jatta 3: A Decade of Laughter Continues with a Hilarious Storyline and Memorable Characters

The third part of the film Carry on Jatta has been released in cinemas on 29th June 2023. It’s been more than a decade when the first part of franchise was released in 2012. Since then this film has always managed to entertain people and give them break from their hectic stress filled life.

Moving on to the storyline of the film where Jass (Gippy Grewal) meets Meet (Sonam Bajwa) at a wedding and falls in love with her. But before anything could happen both sides of the family unknowingly pick up a fight with each other. To solve this problem Jass comes up with a plan which leaves them in a whirlwind situation.

The amazing star cast and all the characters together manage to steal the show in this uproarious comedy delivering punches, and impeccable timing, making the audience laugh and non-stop. The witty and hilarious one-liners engaged the audience and kept them entertained throughout. Messaging chemistry between Gippy Grewal and Sonam Patwa continues to charm everyone. Talking about Gippy Grewal, Binnu Dhillon, and Jaswinder Bhalla, their chemistry, and comedic timings create the perfect trio that has managed to entertain the audience throughout the three parts of this franchise.

The film runs at a first face in the liver jokes and every tone in the first half but it only starts to slack during the second one. At some times, it felt like not everything was up to par. The presence of B.N Sharma in only one scene with his iconic dialogue ‘mujhe kuch nahi pata’ was quite a disappointment. Along with him Nasir chinyoti and Karamjit Singh Anmol could have been explored more. To do something different but the story line felt somewhat similar. The same of Jass tries to chase a girl and marrying her.

Sleep Kang as the director did a splendid job. but due to its slackened comedic dialogues and storyline, the film fell flat in some places. The audience’s response to the film is neutral but more toward a good film. Fans loved watching such a stellar star cast coming together and entertaining the audience with hilarious comedy and a whole whirlwind situation towards the end of film.
