Jhalle Pai Gaye Palle Movie Synopsis
“Jhalle Pai Gaye Palle” is the story of Roop Kaur, who, at the age of 10-12, played with her childhood friend “Pala” considering marriage as a game. But Roop Kaur had to go to Canada at that time due to some family reasons and she could not come to Punjab for the next 20-25 years. Roop Kaur doesn’t remember much about Pala. It is not so easy to find Pala, because in Punjab the name Pala is not just the name of one man.
Harpal / Jaspal / Pritpal / Gurpal / Jagpal, all such people are called Pala here. In this process, four men appear in front of them as Pala. They all had studied in the same govt. school of Srawali, around the same year as Roop.
Now, we talk about the first Pala, Master Nachhatrapal Singh (played by Gurmeet Saajan), who is an over-aged bachelor and is said to have a love affair with the Hindi teacher of the same school.
The second one is, Prempal Singh Dodhi (Milkman) (played by Parkash Gadu). He is a flirty man and as soon as he sees a newly married woman, he cannot stop himself and grabs her hand. Due to this behavior, he has been beaten up by the villagers many times. Because of his antics, his marriage is on the verge of collapse and his wife has filed for divorce.
The third one is Hawaldar Harpal Singh (played by Dilawar Sidhu), who does not remember much due to a head injury during a police encounter. He has to keep things written on his palm to remember. He has started liking Roop Kaur and wants to marry her, to get a mother for his son and his happy life.
Fourth Pala is Rampal Singh (played by Gurchet Chitrakar), who is a Nukkad Natak artist by profession and is ready to do anything for Canada and Cash. His wife has a similar mind. You can imagine the thinking of this couple from the fact that to convince Roop Kaur to get married to Rampal, they also pretend to be brother and sister.
These four use a lot of tricks to prove themselves as real and others as fake. After all, who among these four is real or none of these four is real, To know whether Roop Kaur manages to find her childhood love, Pala, watch out for the comedy packed Punjabi Movie “Jhalle Pai Gaye Palle”
