Two Generations, One Unforgettable Journey:
Eh Din Roz Ni Aune follows Prabh, a carefree 25-year-old, and Aavraj, a successful yet practical 55-year-old businessman whose approach to life is almost the complete opposite. When their paths cross, their contrasting personalities create an unexpected relationship filled with disagreements, emotions and moments of understanding. Set against a family and professional backdrop, the film explores generational differences while reminding us of the importance of relationships, time and cherishing the people who matter before a moment passes.
A Journey of Love, Time & Understanding:
Some moments in life look ordinary while we are living them, only to become precious memories later. Eh Din Roz Ni Aune builds its emotional world around this simple truth. Directed by Aneet Sekhon, the Punjabi drama brings together two generations and lets their different ideas about life, responsibility and happiness shape the story.
At the heart of the film is Prabh, a 25-year-old, who approaches life with a carefree attitude. On the other side stands Aavraj, a 55-year-old businessman who believes in being practical, organised and responsible. Their personalities could hardly be more different, and that contrast becomes one of the film’s most interesting elements. What starts as a confrontation between two distinct perspectives on life slowly evolves into something deeper. Prabh’s fresh viewpoint questions Aavraj’s long-held convictions, while Aavraj’s wisdom provides Prabh insight into the duties and truths associated with maturity.
However, Eh Din Roz Ni Aune goes beyond just the issue of a generational divide. Underneath the humorous scenes lies a poignant narrative concerning family, connections, and the insights people occasionally grasp only after some time has passed. The movie subtly questions if achievement, routine, and obligations are genuinely sufficient when we neglect to spend time with that dearest to us. The emotional aspect of the narrative intensifies through its familial connections, especially the chance for healing and restoring relationships that have become estranged. Instead of showcasing emotions as grand statements, the film seems to discover them in routine dialogues, miscommunications, and subtle instances of bonding.
The casting adds another layer of interest. Harbhajan Mann portrays Aavraj, while his real-life son Avkash Mann makes his feature-film acting debut as Prabh. Seeing the father-son duo play characters who stand on opposite sides of a generational divide gives their on-screen relationship an added curiosity. Nirmal Rishi, Heer Achhra and Sarabjit Cheema are also part of the ensemble. Behind the camera, Aneet Sekhon takes charge as writer-director, shaping the film around its emotional and family-driven core. With Mukul Punia handling cinematography and Bharat S. Rawat on editing, the technical team supports a story that aims to balance warmth, humor and emotion.
Why It Stands Out:
What makes Eh Din Roz Ni Aune interesting is its relatability. Its central conflict does not depend on a larger-than-life situation; instead, it comes from something familiar, people who love each other but do not always understand each other’s way of thinking. Ultimately, the film carries a simple reminder:
Time keeps moving, but the moments we share with our loved ones are the ones that stay. And perhaps, that is exactly what the title promises, these days do not come every day.
Eh Din Roz Ni Aune is scheduled to release in cinemas worldwide on October 9, 2026.
