Thappa follows Harjit, a young journalist who creates a fake ghost video when he fails to find a real paranormal story. The video goes viral, bringing him attention, money and a new house. But his luck changes when the house actually turns out to be haunted. Now, the man who invented a ghost story must face a real one.
