From Nursing Student to “Badmash”:
What happens when a kind-hearted nursing student gets tired of being treated as “too soft”? Bebe Main Badmash Banuga? follows Himmat, a simple and gentle young man who decides to reinvent himself as a tough “badmash” after constantly being mocked for his innocence. What begins almost like a playful experiment soon takes him into a world of love, conflict, ambition and consequences.

Directed by Sukhminder Dhanjal, the Punjabi film follows Himmat, played by Jagjeet Sandhu, a nursing student whose kindness becomes the very quality people make fun of. Instead of continuing to accept the way others see him, Himmat decides to create a completely different version of himself. But becoming a “badmash” is easier to imagine than to live.
His transformation brings a mix of action, romance, comedy and conflict, while gradually changing the way he looks at himself and the people around him. The story moves from the innocence of a young student towards a more complicated world where confidence, reputation and ambition come with their own price.

Cast and Creative Team:
Jagjeet Sandhu stars in the film together with Aveera Singh Masson, while Ashish Duggal, Sanju Solanki, Paramveer Singh, Satwant Kaur, and others play supporting characters. The script is attributed to Nihal Purba and Gurpreet Bhullar, whereas Dhanjal is recognized for the story and directing. Hapreet works as the cinematographer, Gurjeet King edits the film, and Crowny is responsible for the music. The movie is produced by Rrupaali Gupta and Jagjeet Sandhu.
The film was certified UA 13+ by the Central Board of Film Certification on 3 February 2026, with a certified length of 129 minutes.
