Most Ambitious Director of Pollywood – Simranjit Singh Hundal

Simranjit Singh Hundal is a well known Indian film director, and writer, working in the Punjabi film industry, who once again is coming with a new action blockbuster film “Mining- Reyte te Kabzaa” an Issue based film around Illegal Sand Mafia of Punjab which is scheduled to hit cinemas on 28th April 2023. He is both director and writer of this new multilingual movie which revolves around true Illegal mining business in Punjab Produced by Running Horses Films & Global Titans.

After a Successful collab with Ranjha Vikram Singh in movie 25 kille, Simranjit Singh Hundal and Ranjha vikram Singh has once again collaborated for film project of Mining which will be soon seen in theatres.

Born in 1983 at village Wadala (Viram) Amritsar, Punjab, Hundal started his career in 2002 and 2013 before landing his first notable role in the Movie Jatt Boys -Putt Jattan De. He has directed more than 500 music videos and a total of six movies including Gun & Goal, 25 Kille, and Jatt Boys- Putt Jattan de, Nanka Mel, Rabba Rabba Meeh Varsa, Kulche Chole. He was nominated for his movie Jatt Boys – Putt Jattan De and won the PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2014 – Best Debut Director. Then in 2015 for his movie 25kille, bagged the best action director at the Filmfare award Punjabi.

All the years of his works have revealed many shades of Hundal as Film Director, Writer, Producer, Actor, and Music video director. He has affirmed his impression in the hearts of the audience with his directions throughout the years. After crossing several hurdles over the years Hundal still experiments, explore new challenges.
